The stunning scenic image was shared by the Serie A team, AC Milan, with their 15.1 million followers on Instagram with the caption: “Close your eyes 80%: tell us who you see!”.
The post has received over 639,000 likes since it was posted on Thursday, with thousands of fans making their guesses in the comment section.
However, after many attempts, the correct answer began to emerge, as the image of the player hidden in the mountains was, in fact, the former striker from Arsenal and Chelsea, Olivier Giroud.
The French player spent nine years in the Premier League with both London clubs. He arrived at Arsenal after moving from Montpellier, and played for the club for six years, scoring 105 goals in 253 matches before making the move to West London.
The French striker spent the next three years of his career at Stamford Bridge, where he won three trophies, including his first Champions League title. His quest for trophies continued in Milan, as he won the Serie A in his debut season in 2021/22.
